Investing.com — U.S. oil stockpiles rose by more than expected in the latest week, the Energy Information Administration said on Wednesday.
rose 9.382 million barrels last week, compared with analysts’ expectations for a build of 0.863 million barrels.
stockpiles, which include diesel and , declined by 2.902 million barrels in the week against expectations for a draw of 0.515 million barrels, the EIA data showed.
inventories dropped by 3.649 million barrels last week, the EIA said, compared with expectations for a draw of 0.388 million barrels.
